Mental health awareness week 9th-15th May 2022
Taking care of our mental health - and indeed of those around us - is something we passionately believe in at The Cornish Scent Company and is at the very core of everything we do.
Our founder Sarah has made no secret about her previous mental health struggles and believes her lived experience of professional burn-out at the age of 30 made her realise the importance of self-care. Sarah not only has first hand experience of this she continues to practice as a qualified psychiatric nurse.
“Wellness is so important to me”, Sarah told us. “I try to practice what I preach. I believe in taking time out to run a nice bath, using our relaxing bath bombs and getting an early night with our Dreamy time pillow mist. All the things I should have perhaps been doing when I was 30”.
Here, Sarah shares her top tips for looking after your mental health all year round and tells us about her favourite products from our bestselling range.
